2008 Rad Scholarship
On Saturday the 13th of September
nine of our major students participated in the RAD Scholarship which
is held in Brisbane each year. Students from all over South East
Queensland enter into this scholarship. Four of our students were
chosen for the finals which took place on Sunday the 14th. In each
section there were only eight finalists to be chosen from classes of
30- 55. Our girls chosen as finalists were – GABRIELLA TOOMA for the
junior section, TAELA WILLIAMS for the intermediate Section, SARA
HARMON for the pre senior section and HANNAH DE JONG for the senior
section. TAELA received the ENCOURAGEMENT AWARD for the intermediate
section and SARA received RUNNER UP for the Pre Senior Section. This
is such a wonderful achievement and well deserved. Congratulations
girls you have all done us proud.
