Paul Boyd.

Paul’s very successful career has taken him all over the world. He was Principal dancer with Dusseldorf, Dortmund, Bonn and Basel ballet companies. He made guest appearances in America, Israel, Germany, Italy, Monte Carlo, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, France and Taiwan. His extensive repertoire includes principal roles in Spartacus, Swan Lake, Giselle, Nutcracker, Coppelia, Romeo and Juliet, Midsummer Nights Dream, Sleeping Beauty and Don Quixote. After returning to Australia in 1996 he spent 7 years as Principal dancer, company coach and choreographer with Queensland Ballet. Many of Paul’s choreographic works have been taken into the Queensland Ballets repertoires including his two full length evenings “St Francis of Assisi”and “Jekyll and Hyde”.Since 2004 Paul has worked as a freelance teacher, coach and choreographer. His guest teaching and choreographic credits include the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, The Royal Ballet School, Graduate College of Dance in Perth, QUT and The Australian Ballet.
